Face, Body & Foot Scrubs – Exfoliate & Nourishing Your Skin
We offer a range of face scrubs, body scrubs and foot scrubs from leading manufacturers – ideal for exfoliating and nourishing your skin.
Tips for using exfoliating scrubs
There’s nothing quite as indulgent as treating yourself to a good body or face scrub at home. Here’s what you need to know.
What are the benefits of using scrubs?
Face and body scrubs can:
-
- remove dead skin cells and impurities
- create a more even skin surface
- help reduce blemishes and scarring
- clear the pores and improve radiance and skin elasticity
- reduce stress
Can you use face scrub on any skin type?
Yes. Face scrubs are available for dry, oily and combination skin types.
If your skin is prone to rashes or breakouts, opt for a scrub specially made for sensitive skin. Ingredients such as coconut, aloe and honey can have a soothing effect.
Are scrubs good for your face?
The benefits of face scrubs are numerous. Exfoliating removes the top layer of dead skin, making the face appear healthier and more radiant. It cleanses pores, helps with acne and can reduce the appearance of blemishes.
Which natural face scrub is best?
The best face scrub will depend on your skin type and needs.
Scrubs that contain apricots purify and cleanse the pores. Ingredients such as ginseng and milk are good for reducing pigmentation. Using an organic coconut oil for face scrub nourishes the skin and may help to fade scars.
Do research to find a solution that suits your skin.
How to use face scrub
To use an exfoliating facial scrub,
-
- tie your hair back and wash your face
- dab teaspoon-sized amounts of face scrub on both cheeks
- rub the scrub in gentle, circular motions over the face, avoiding the lips and soft skin around the eyes (don’t apply too much pressure – the grains in the scrub should do most of the work)
- rinse with warm water and pat dry with a clean towel
Follow by applying a suitable moisturiser.
How to use body scrub
Wet your skin completely with warm water, in the bath or shower. Using your fingers, gently massage the scrub into your skin, using circular motions. Rinse thoroughly and pat dry.
How often to use body scrub
It’s best to use a body scrub no more than once or twice a week. Exfoliating too regularly may irritate delicate skin.
How to do a DIY foot treatment
Start off with a good soak in lukewarm water. Add soaking salts or a drop of aromatherapy oil if you choose.
Towel dry both feet, and apply an exfoliating sugar scrub in a circular motion. Concentrate on the heels and balls of the feet.
Rinse and dry the feet well. Finally, use a moisturiser to gently massage the feet.
At Hairhouse Warehouse, we offer salon-quality face scrubs, body scrubs and foot scrubs for sale online. We also offer a range of therapeutic home spa treatments and home spa accessories.
