Sustainability
FFØR’s mission is to protect hair and the future of our planet, creating beautiful hair without harming the Earth. Every product is created with highest respect for the environment. FFØR chooses Post-Consumer Recycled (PCR) plastics over virgin plastics to create 100% recyclable bottles, jars and labels.
FFØR continuously works with suppliers to explore new ways of increasing the percentage of PCR used in all bottles, with the goal of eventually using only recycled materials in the entire range.
Ethical Sourcing
Every ingredient is expertly and thoughtfully curated. Products are specially developed so only the most essential and natural materials touch your hair and scalp. FFØR products are free from anything harsh or harmful – no parabens, sulphates, silicone or mineral oils.
FFØR works diligently with trusted suppliers who share their core values. Every ingredient has to be of the highest quality and purity, all while being verifiably obtained, used and packaged with the greatest environment respect.
FFØR is doing their bit to minimise their impact on the environment, reduce waste sent to landfill and be as sustainably responsible as it’s possible to be. Great hair should be possible without disrespecting the planet and the environment in which we share.

CRUELTY FREE & VEGAN FRIENDLY
In a world of green washing, FFØR wants to take a different approach towards honesty between brands and consumers. For something as intimate as a product you regularly put on your body, you deserve to know about where the ingredients come from and how the product was made. FFØR promises to be completely honest about their products and processes.
One area of transparency is the subject of animal products and animal testing. FFØR believes it is unacceptable to test on animals, leading to a 100% vegan and cruelty free status for all their products.
Loving the planet means caring for all creatures who share it. Being vegan and cruelty free is a no-brainer: it’s friendlier to the planet, friendlier to your hair, and the results can be as fantastic as possible without any compromise.
PLAN BEE
FFØR believes that supporting our environment starts at your own front door. That’s why they are working with Plan Bee, an organisation who have given them the chance to adopt two bee colonies that live on site at FFØR headquarters. This is a wonderful and approachable way to improve overall biodiversity in the area.
In addition, FFØR has created their very own wildflower meadow that provides the bees with the habitat they need. This means, as well as bringing in 100,000 new pollinators, everything is done to ensure the bees will thrive in their new home.
The idea of being more in tune with our environment is daunting. However, FFØR are showing that even small acts can make a big difference.
NATURAL FRAGRANCES
As humans, we can identify danger and quality based on smell. Some scents trigger primordial relaxation and wellness, while others, particularly ones derived from chemicals, leave us feeling uneasy.
FFØR believes their products deserve subtle, understated fragrances to match the gentleness of their formulas. These fragrances are 100% natural, free from any synthetic traces. Only scents that are created from 100% natural ingredients from trusted suppliers are used. After much research, work and love, FFØR selected six natural fragrances for their product range.
These natural fragrances include:
TRUE SOFT WOODS
Woody, balsamic, powdery with top notes of lemon, orange, cypress and galbanum. Middle notes of lavender, geranium and rosewood and bottom notes with patchouli, cedarwood, vetiver and vanilla.
TRUE WINTERFEELING
Oriental, warm, spicy, sweet with top notes of orange and clove, middle notes of benzoe, myrrh and anis. Bottom notes of patchouli, vanilla and cedarwood.
ORANGE SPICE
An essential oil blend of fresh citrus orange notes and cinnamon leaf spices.
PEPPERMINT REMEDY
An essential oil opening with notes of fresh lemon and then onto the heart and base of peppermint.
BERGAMOT AND BLACK PEPPER
This is a spicy woody fragrance enhanced with spicy black pepper, bergamot and lavender accords anchored in deep woodsy notes.
FENNEL TEA
A herbal essential oil opening with fresh citrus to notes of lemon, orange and bergamot. It then leadsm onto a heart of lavender and fennel, while resting on a basil base.
